- A group of lads walking through Burton discussing their favourite TV shows
- A couple of members of staff at the gym were playfully arguing, and one said to the other “shut your mouth, that’s silly billy behaviour”, and I smiled because that’s such a preposterously wonderful retort
- Mum was having difficulty trying to report some of her items as missing from her recent Amazon order. I asked her how she was getting on – “well, I’m on a live chat with some stupid bitch called Diana now. She’s useless”. I chuckled
- I’m in Oxford staying in a student area, and I’ve been people watching out of the window all morning, and it made me smile seeing all the students wandering down the street in their pyjamas and sliders, very clearly hungover from last night
- I’m at my brother’s girlfriend’s 21st, and I’m seeing lots of faces that I remember but I have no idea why, and I smiled because I love getting on the piss. Follow up – a young lad just got up to dance with his Nan & Granddad and, despite my complete lack of emotions, it was the sweetest fucking thing I’ve ever seen
- The clouds looking extra fluffy out of the plane window
- A woman walking home with a pushchair, an aldi bag on each handle, with one bottle of white and one bottle of red in the bottom of the pushchair. Iconic
- Some kids having a snowball fight at the bus stop
- Three blokes working out in the gym, puffing and panting as loud as they can, one of them with his top off. I smiled because it’s nice knowing I’ll never ever be that tragic. Ah, the topless one literally just started filming himself. I hope he has a truly awful day
- A horse in the car park outside Tesco
- I got some new glasses and I smiled at myself because I really like how they look on me and I can’t remember the last time I looked at myself and wasn’t disgusted
- I’m in the pub and the football is on. Mo Salah just scored and took his shirt off to celebrate. A man tutted and shook his head, and his partner turned to him and said “if you had a body like that you’d take your top off too”
- Mum was chatting with some friends and I smiled because I couldn’t really hear what they were saying but I could hear her laugh every 20 seconds or so
- Listening to Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter whilst Sam drives us to the pub. Sam moaned when I asked Siri to play it but then immediately started singing along with me. I smiled because every now and again he reminds me why we’re best friends
